The Family Policy Institute reports to be a faith-based organization, but they gave money and demonstrate in opposition of human rights legislation and teaches and perpetrates homophobia and hate. They routinely sway and membership to further non-religious, political and social goals. All this committed under the guise of a Christian charity.
Given the nature of the hurtful work this organization does, the purpose of this petition is to have them (and their subsidiaries) lose their status of a 501(3)c tax-exempt status.
They are not a charity and for that reason, they should not (nor their donors) be allowed to enjoy tax-free status.
