Family Reunion. For Military members, spouse, parent, child, son or daughter of a U.S. citizen.

Created by C.B. on January 24, 2013

Amend the 1996, INA § 212(a)(6)(C)(ii) and limit the ban on admissibility to a reasonable time; create a discretionary waiver of inadmissibility in the case of an immigrant who is the spouse, parent, child, son or daughter of a U.S. citizen; Give special recognition to military families. This lifetime ban is unhuman and unjust to the children of these individuals and to their significant others who live with them and are U.S. citizens and that are being treated as second class citizens because an immigration officer decided to take all his anger and unfortune on those who only want to live better and that look for freedom. All crimes have waiver, why is it that a humble and inocent person cannot be given pardon when he/she only wants to maintain family unity. And we say "so help me God."
