Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Amend Harp.2 to include people who already Harped once in 2010 or 2011 for better rates

Created by K.S. on April 22, 2012

Amend the Current Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac Harp.2
program to include people who already utilized the Harp Program in 2010 & 2011, so they can obtain a bettered interest rate. This would greatly assist homeowners who have endured lowered incomes and/or layoffs since 2008 and are still trying not to go into foreclosure. This step alone would aide the people in continuing to hold onto their greatest asset.
Also consider at some point revamping the appraisal system used currently of comparing the most recent sold homes in a neighborhood versus the insurance companies method of what would it cost to replace a home, the values are far apart, yet the insurance carriers are the logical and correct party.Value should be based on replacement cost.
