Fast Track appeal of Halbig vs Burwell

Created by K.P. on July 28, 2014

The ruling by the DC Circuit Court states that healthcare subsidies are authorized through state run exchanges only, yet 36 states are on the federal exchange. The law imposes hefty taxes on the people to pay subsidies in 50 states and DC. A 36 state subsidy reduction will dramatically reduce the costs of the bill and the cost to taxpayers. We have the right to trust our government will not coerce us into paying higher taxes, for a non-appropriated use, as currently defined by the DC court.
The case will inevitably be appealed to the Supreme Court, but we the people need clarity before we are overtaxed in the 2014 tax season. Therefore, we demand the President order the Attorney General to immediately fast track an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court.
