FastTrack Green Card for Science and Technology Professionals Completing 1-year OPT or H1-B in USA, or Master's+ Abroad.

Created by N.E. on March 25, 2013

Our companies are sending science and technology jobs abroad given the shortage of such specialized skills in our populace. We need to reverse this trend.

Part I: Students completing education at a four-year USA university (not online) as well as one year of OPT in a science and technology ("S&T") related discipline or professionals who work in the USA on an H1-B visa for one year should be automatically eligible for a FastTrack Green Card.

Part II: All foreign students with S&T master's degrees+ should be eligible to apply for a FastTrack Green Card.

If we plan to win the global S&T race, we need to both retain existing and attract new top-tier talent. To date, a multitude of amazing discoveries, companies, and industries have be created by immigrants. We must reinforce this trend.
