We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

In fatal conflicts with the Police, officers should be suspended without pay; and head of the precinct is reprimanded.

Created by B.M. on July 08, 2016

Over the past few years, we have seen an increasing amount of violence from police officers who have been sworn to protect and serve, take the lives of minority citizens. Often times these citizens were unarmed. However, in the aftermath of these situations, these officers are placed on paid administrative duty. This is unfair. If an officer murders any unarmed citizen, (especially because officers are equipped with tasers), that officer should be suspended without pay until the investigation has been concluded. Moreover, the head of the precinct in which the officer is stationed should also be reprimanded. Consequently, this facilitates some sort of accountability and also protects minority citizens from rogue officers with cruel intentions.
