"Fate of Empires and Search For Survival" by Sir John Glubb to be required reading in all High School Curriculum

Created by H.V. on November 15, 2012

The future of our country depends on our youth's knowledge and understanding of not only the history of our country but that of the world.

Sir John Glubb's "The Fate of Empires and Search for Survival" shows how all great Empires (Nations) through history have the same typical life span (250 years) and experience the same life cycles.

Glubb's work should be required reading for all high school students, so that they can consider the conclusions of his work and determine if the US is following the same pattern as nations before it and what stage of the life cycle we are in. A copy of this essay (only 26 pages long) can be found online at:

This will produce more socially and historically aware generations to lead our country in the future
