The Summit of the Americas meeting in Colombia in mid-April will consider legalization and decriminalization as a solution to the violence, corruption, and lawlessness.

Legalization would allow government regulation for commercial purposes, while allowing personal use with being a criminal.
Curbing drug demand, not by force, but by education and health policies. Jails are not the answer to health issues.
