This petition impacts every American by keeping US Presidential elections free and clear of politically appointed senior officials of any branch of government from abusing the public trust by improperly using their position to unfairly influence the choice of the people. FBI Director Comey, clearly, under pressure from members of his own party in the Republican controlled House of Representatives, has reopened a case that will influence voters on who to cast their vote to in the final 10 days leading up to the election. This case was previously closed by Director Comey earlier when he concluded prosecution was meritless based on the evidence and would require political motivations to proceed. The Director has unacceptably inserted the FBI into the political election and must resign.
