The Central Intelligence Agency released a statement that Gowdy had strategically altered emails to make it appear Clinton had committed a crime. This falsification of evidence violates federal laws on providing false testimony or evidence in a FBI investigation as well as impeding such and investigation. Due to the serious nature of this claim it is requested that the White House instruct the FBI and DOJ to conduct a criminal investigation into Rep. Gowdy's conduct in this matter and his handling of this email evidence and to make a recommendation or decision on whether his behavior warrants criminal prosecution.
