The FDA should require that food and beverage caffeine content be clearly labeled along with the standard nutrition facts. If caffeine is considered a drug, and it has proven effects on the body and mind, it's content should be labeled so the consumer knows exactly how much "dose" they are taking in order to better control their intake and its effects. This regulation should especially be extended to energy beverages and "shots" which have been known to cause heart palpitations and other medical issues when consumed.
