Fda/DEA regulations cause consiquences. It hurts those who are in need and dont abuse or otherwise misuse there medicine

The imposition of the tightened regulations was aimed at reducing or eliminating of narcotics for recreational use, however the vast majority of people prescribed these medications are in fact in pain and in medical need of an analgesic to reduce the pain. The truth of the matter is that the most efficient analgesic happens to decend from the opioid basis. These regulations have made it harder for me and others to locate a pain management center and get accepted and when we do manage to find one theres a 7 to qo day wait for a urine test that I know will come back correctly, furthermore doctors are taking patients who have been on these medications for years off of them due to fear of dea retaliation, causing these patients unnecessary stress, pain, and forced withdrawl symptoms.
