Create a feasibility study group to investigate the legality and potential effectiveness of a ban on all lobbying in our nation's capital.
This ban would apply ONLY to lobbying in Washington, D.C.. All other olobbying activities would otherwise be completely unlimited - except as by current legal restraints. But they must take place solely and entirely at the State level.
This creates three opportunites: 1) Citizen watchdog strengthening; 2) Representative accountability; 3) millions of dollars flowing into states rather than the coffers of those seeking power and influence 'We The People.'
Again. ALL lobbying would be entirely unfettered. Moreover, if an issue concerns the citizens of more than one state, the burden would be on the lobbyists to justify their interests accordingly.
