Federal Ban of OTC Pseudoephedrine Sales

Many cities and counties nationwide have successfully passed legislation to ban OTC sales of pseudoephedrine unfortunately meth users only go to other areas where there is no ban. Currently in just one state the state of MO there are 29 prisons and 30K prisoners 17% of which are there for drug convictions which equals 5100 inmates that at 16k a year per prisoner for cost of care comes out to 81 million dollars annually x's 52 states equals billions that our government can no longer afford. Meth is a homegrown drug that can be eliminated by federally banning otc sales of Sudafed. We must act now for the betterment of our country and countrymen and ask that our President create legislation that will ease the financial stress of our country.
