Allow people to voluntarily turn over their assault weapons and ammunition to the federal government. We want these guns off the street. Allow people to sell them to the federal government so that they may destroy them. Since we can't seem to pass any legislation keeping these off the street at least give people the incentive to turn them over to the government rather than selling them illegally to their friends or over mediums like Facebook.
