The federal government has little accountability as a whole in between elections. When a civilian has a job to do there are deadlines and penalties for not making them. I believe that areas such as the va and irs have failed America and there is little representation of what the people want. I believe that a board of federal employees should be formed , it's purpose would be to find accountability for job performance. If The irs employees are not responsible for the delays then it is congress. The va is backlogged inaccurate and difficult to work with. At some point individual employees or legislation as a whole has failed and their should be personal financial accountability. This should not be limited to these two issues only but all functions of the federal government.
