That the federal government respects the state's choice for legalizing recreational and/or medical use of marijuana.

Created by J.W. on November 17, 2012

Since the state of California has legalized the use of medical marijuana, the state and the federal government have not been working together to protect the rights of those who have voted in order to have marijuana reform. Since there are states that do not want it to be legalized, I am not proposing that it is legalized everywhere. However, in places such as Colorado and Washington who have had a majority vote, that choice should be respected by the federal government and criminal action should be focused elsewhere.
