According to the PEW Research Center "U.S. income inequality has been increasing steadily since the 1970s, and now has reached levels not seen since 1928". While many Americans prosper and have plenty, there are those who are struggling to feed themselves and their children. The United States Federal Government should seek to lessen income inequality, and help those in poverty.
