Federal Holiday- Nov 22nd... John F. Kennedy Rememberence Day

Created by A.P. on November 26, 2013

Former President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States was slain by a gunman on November 22, 1963. JFK was known for being a WWII vet and hero, de-escalating the Cuban Missile Crisis, and uniting the world against Communism. The memory of JFK is left mainly to the speculation of events surrounding his assassination, but he was arguably one of the best presidents in U.S. history. A day to celebrate the life of accolades of JFK would be an appropriate homage to this great man.
