Dear Mr President
First of all, merry Christmas and Happy New Year for you and your family.
I kindly ask you to start pushing a reform for all US federal institutions to begin accepting people names with Unicode or -at least- including western characters, like ñ, or ü, It is unacceptable, well within the XXI century to have people naturalized in this country and having to change their names, just because some old mainframes, still in use, only accept up to the first 127 chars in the ASCII alphabet. Let me give you one cruel example: People named like "Peña" are forced to change to "Pena". This change will also make our country much safer, since it will help accuracy in any existing communication processes between US and other countries, to name just one example.
Thank you!
