Dear Mr. President,
While current child support matters are handled at the state level, it is very clear that the child support system in this country is insufficient and requires federal invention in correcting this epidemic. The child support laws that are currently in place in many states unfairly makes it very difficult for hard working men and women to personally and economically provide adequate support. In addition, there are many men and women that completely abuse the system for personal and financial gain without considering the welfare of the children. It has been historically proven that this imbalanced system has led to financial hardship, incarceration, and suicide. I am asking that your administration make this needed change to move families forward. Respectfully S. Davis
