Clearly the federal legalization of cannabis would allow the government to gain an enormous revenue if it were to be taxed properly. The legalization of being able to cultivate and distribute cannabis given the proper permits, would also prevent the widespread of laced cannabis in illegal states. PCP, cocaine, and embalming fluid being the main substances that have been found when cannabis is laced. Many people have only the alternative of smoking cannabis to relieve particular health issues, in states in which it's illegal.
