The Federal legalization of marijuana based on the fact that it is what the majority of Americans want

Created by A.P. on January 21, 2013

The federal legalization of marijuana should be legal because that is what the majority of the people want. In some of the responses before the administration describes how there are no beneficial factors of marijuana. There are no beneficial factors of the consumption of alcohol, but it was made legal because that is what the majority of what Americans wanted. In addition to this the taxation and regulation of marijuana will not only put money in the hands of the government, but that money will not be going into the hands of drug dealers. The administration should consider the options of letting the drug dealers increase their power for a drug that is better health-wise for you than alcohol, or legalize marijuana, taking power away from drug dealers,& because that is what Americans want.
