The American education system talks about great ideas and options they have for children with disabilities. However, the parents have to struggle with the school systems just to get the basic requirements of their child's plan met.
The government seriously lacks in the enforcement of violations of Individualized Education Plan documents. This signed legal document in theory should carry the weight of law when put into effect.
