CSU has raised tuition 33% in the last two years. They have recently approved a measure to raise tuition costs 5% per semester.
We need the federal government to step in and place strict guidelines to prevent non-stop increases in tuition.
No more federal aid or grant money to schools that do not participate in the program.
We need to reform how schools are spending money; not allow schools to pass the cost onto students.
Telling students take a larger loan or picking up a second job is not the answer. Salary and benefit reform, streamlining spending, and competitive bidding for contracts is the answer.
Let's hold the schools responsible to staying within their budget.
