Using executive order and legislation to protect the lives of the mentally ill or emotionally disturbed. mandating special training for all first responder personnel to handle an emotionally disturbed person. using non lethal force as a way to contain utilizing non lethal weaponry and or restraints. protecting the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of those members of our society that due to their condition are unable to handle situations which may be threatening for them. protecting the vulnerable of our society. remembering that all Americans are prone to mental illness and some way and protection must be given to this demographic.
