We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Federal Prosecution for persons who use firearms to injure or cause the death of any local Law Enforcement Officer

Created by V.G. on November 23, 2016

There has been a drastic increase of physical assaults against local law enforcement officers throughout the country. Many of which have lead to officers being killed or seriously injured without provacation. The mandate for federal prosecution would ensure that ample resources are dedicated to properly investigate the incident and create a uniform standard across the nation. Federal intervention is necessary as it will send a nation-wide message that the U.S. Government will protect those who have dedicated their lives to protect the citizens of this country. Federal prosecution will also help to ensure that convicted persons receive lengthy sentences, appropriate for a crime that undoubtedly challenges the constitutional guarantee of freedom and safety of american citizens.
