Please create federal provision(s) to keep non-venomous, constrictor snakes up to 6 feet in length such as ball pythons, and colubrids (e.g. corn snakes, kingsnakes, hognose snakes, rat snakes, etc.) in apartment complexes, without suffering the consequences of eviction, fees, or any form of penalties. These aquarium-bound animals cannot inflict any damages to property, and thus are not a liability to any landlord's property. Many of the aforementioned snakes are docile animals and do not grow past 6 feet. There is a misconception of these animals, and with this misconception comes discrimination and ban laws targeting all snakes and making no distinction between docile and wild, small and large, venomous and non-venomous.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
