This petition is to ensure the secure and legal process of elections in the United States. A federal tax that would pay for the initial issuance of a national voter ID card to every registered voter in the U.S. A system that will validate the voter thru tax payer ID number on a magnetic strip or bar code. If lost, the voter must pay thru their own funds a fee to replace the card. If the card is lost during an election time frame, a provisional ballot will be issued and the voter verified as a registered voter before the ballot is counted. Issuance of the card is subject to proof of citizenship.
