We hereby petition our President, Barack Obama, to issue an executive order to federalize the National Guard in Missouri to protect the protestors and the free exercise of their rights as American citizens.One year after the violent killing of Mike Brown, The fight for African-American lives continues in Ferguson, MO. The police and state response to Black Lives Matter protestors in Ferguson continues to be disproportionate, and their constitutionally-guaranteed rights to freedom of the speech, press, lawful assembly, equal protection and due process under the law are being blatantly violated with little or no recourse, putting their lives and the lives they're fighting for at risk. Federal intervention is necessary in our purview.
