Many Americans are stuck in a situation where they have a mortgage they cannot refinance. They make enough money to pay their mortgage. They never missed a payment. They are not backed by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and are not within the scope of any relief program. We are not asking for any debt forgiveness. We are only asking for a chance to refinance at a reasonable locked market rate. I am petitioning the White House to back the mortgage or refinance of those Americans.
