Immediately ban the use of "corporal punishment" by U.S. educators in all U.S. schools whether private or public. 60 years of scientific evidence that "proves" beating children with anything including a wooden board for whatever reason has long lasting detrimental and harmful effects on their development should be enough. If you are serious about ending bullying than end this blatant form of bullying and abuse by educators. Immediately prosecute any teacher or educator or school employee who beats on a child.
