federally clarify that 1st Amendment rights are for all individuals, not for businesses or organizations.

Created by T.C. on February 25, 2014

Only 30% of the world's population subscribe to the tenets of Abrahamic Monotheism. Granted, that percentage is larger here, but it is certainly not representative of all individuals to whom the 1st Amendment guarantees freedom, both of and from religion.

Too many businesses and religious as well as governmental agencies have erroneously defined the U.S. as a nation founded upon religious tenets and judged/governed thereby. This is gross misinterpretation of their texts, of history and of the Constitution. Leaders are increasingly abusing their own freedom in order to deny that of others, including services they feel compelled to provide.

Please clarify that this is unacceptable. There should be no legislation nor policy proposed which diminishes rather than expanding freedom for all.
