Why should drug users benefit from welfare benefits? This allows more children to be brought up in the same unhealthy environment and does not force these welfare recipients into the work force. If I have to be drug tested in order to support my family, why shouldn't welfare recipients be drug tested receive their free benefits? The welfare system that was put in force to help the needy has gotten out of hand and out of control. The system needs to be rewritten to include this detail, forcing people to clean up their lives and support themselves. I'm tired of supporting people who will not help themselves because the government enables them to live the way they do.
