Federally investigate the moral ethics of the news media and Hollywood for its psychopathic obsession with violent crime

In the aftermath of several tragic massacres, the major news media outlets have a fanatical obsession with giving extra coverage to psychopaths and their horrific actions. As a result of excessive coverage by the media, psychopaths are given widespread fame for their unspeakable crimes, therefore making them famous for, arguably, the worst violent crimes in human history. In conjunction with the major news media outlets, (CNN, Fox, etc.) Hollywood should be investigated/interrogated for the production of distasteful violent movies. It is now clear that media coverage has a profound influence on the psyche. The federal government, in partnership with the American people, should investigate the intentions of all sources of media which propagate the violent culture of the American people.
