This petition is to make the general public aware of our right to vote on said issue. A recent study done by the pew research center has concluded that 52% of adult Americans are in favor of legalizing and decriminalizing marijuana in all fifty states.
We all have our concerns about regulation and distribution but this should not stand in the way of a very profitable and taxable stream of revenue in this country.
There are many health benefits and medical uses for marijuana. sure there are also health risks associated with marijuana but this is true with the abuse of any substance.
We the people call for an official stance from the Obama administration soon. Very many of Obama supporters also support this new wave of marijuana awareness.
We need our government to step up!
