Colorado's amendment 64 just passed, as did Initiative 502 in Washington. After Marijuana was legalized in Colorado the crime rate dropped. Marijuana is an herb that should be legalized. It has many uses and is safer than Alcohol which is legal. Marijuana is even used for a cure to sicknesses and it could also end dependence on oil, gas, and coal which means it can help the economy tremendously. Indeed there should be rules when Marijuana is legalized to be used for recreational and medical uses such as a certain age. Marijuana has tons of positive uses and has no recorded deaths in history and is illegal but Alcohol has less positive uses then Marijuana and Alcohol kills over twenty five thousand people in the USA yearly and over one million people worldwide.
