Regulated sales of cannabis for recreational use would bring in billions of dollars annually for our government from sales tax alone. According to the Huffington Post, Colorado made $14 million in revenue in just the first month so imagine how much profit our nation could make. Regulating marijuana similar to alcohol would benefit the US greatly.
