The government should federally legalize Marijuana for many reasons.
1. Marijuana has never killed 1 person.
2. Instead of spending millions/billions of dollars to lock up innocent people, tax it instead. The tax generated by Marijuana would reverse the current spending, into revenue.
3. It would create hundreds of thousands of jobs across the country.
4. It would drastically reduce crime and deaths around the world due to gang violence and Mexican drug cartels.
5. Alcohol is legal, yet it causes an average of 2.5 million deaths per year in the world.
6. Marijuana is non-addictive. Another upside to that is people will not kill to get Marijuana if they are going through withdrawals as they do with Meth, Cocaine, Heroin, etc. Marijuana will NOT cause withdrawals.
