Nov. 6, 2012, Colorado's amendment 64 overwhelmingly passed, as did Initiative 502 in Washington. Meanwhile Marijuana for medical use is already legal in 19 states, not counting Colorado and Washington, and Washington DC for a total of 22. Marijuana prohibition enforcement costs the government 13.7 billion dollars annually, and puts well over 500,000 people in jail every year (sources cited below).

If Marijuana were to become Legalized, and Regulated like Alcohol, and Taxed. Not only would the government save billions, it would make billions in tax revenue. It would also assist in the problem of our overcrowded prisons.
