Peoples lives and reputation are being ruined because of a horrible policy the United States Federal Government has towards marijuana. A federal felony is almost impossible to have taken off your record besides a Presidential Pardon which does not erase your felony record, and is almost impossible to receive, unlike the state felony expungement process . There is an unfair double standard going on in the United States where people can go on national television with grow houses and retail marijuana shops identifying themselves and the government does nothing, while in other cases people are arrested by the federal government in a discriminatory manner. A Federal felony expungement process for nonviolent marijuana offences must be created so these people do not lose their civil rights.
