Legalize Marijuana. It'll create jobs, cut crime down and reduce the cost of the war on drugs while weakening the drug cartels. There is a huge demand for marijuana, and the people are going to get from somewhere. Why wouldnt the government want to take advantage of this opportunity to solve all these issues by legalizing this plant. The tax revenue certainly would help our economy by keeping the money in the states instead of across our borders into the hands of dangerous criminals.
