Unlike alcohol, aspirin, or other "drugs", marijuana has never directly killed anyone from overdose. If legalized, the taxes themselves would dig us out of this recession, let alone save the $500 Million spent by our government trying to keep harmless marijuana off the streets.
Obama promised legalization over 4 years ago. Even when he was campaigning in Illinois, Obama stated he would legalize marijuana. What happened? Lobbyists? It is time.
