Federally mandate labeling of consumer products containing genetically modified ingredients.

Consumer products containing genetically modified organisms are majorly contributing to the use of more agricultural chemicals (toxic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers) every year. These chemicals are polluting our soil, ground water supply, rivers, streams, etc. The chemicals can also be absorbed by the consumer during consumption. Genetically modified food products have been shown to alter the reproductive and digestive abilities of rats and livestock in field and lab testing. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) pose a dangerous risk to our health and the health of our children. PLEASE support GMO labeling, so that every American is free to decide whether or not they wish to consume and/or use products containing GMOs. Many countries have already banned GMOs.
