This law would federally mandate all potential fathers to undergo DNA testing to prove paternity prior to signing a certificate of birth for a child unless the potential father agrees to sign a waiver. This in essence would hopefully place the responsibility in the right hands. Conversely, a woman would be able to petition a man to a DNA test in the issue of child support for delinquent fatherhood. Of course the bill can be tweaked as to not violate the human rights of either party. It would be named: "Maury's Law". Based off the popular daytime talk show that primarily focuses on questionable paternity.
