We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Federally Mandated breaks

Created by M.Y. on May 16, 2016

Currently There is no federal requirement for lunch breaks, while most states have legally mandated lunch and smoke breaks several states do not, and while most companies offer them anyway, many especially in the auto sales industry do not and use the lack of federal protection as an excuse to mistreat employees, We the people would like federal protection for all employment positions mandating no less than a half hour break for lunch and at least two fifteen minute smoke breaks per 8 hour shift.
