Federally regulate oil companies to lower cost on consumer and stop corporate greed.

Created by K.B. on November 14, 2012

One reason for people collecting government aid is because the price of living is outrageous. People can't afford groceries, or other items due to price increase because of shipping costs. Shipping costs have gone up because of fuel prices. No reason exists for fuel price increase. We, as a whole, feel the repercussions from this greed and would like the federal government to regulate the line between profit and greed when it comes to oil companies. If this is found unconstitutional by the courts, we propose that the government invest in oil and create government funded jobs in the fuel industry, providing that the government would compete and create a stable market for fuel. A 30 percent markup from cost would provide income for the government and reduce cost for the all Americans.
