Recent reports have stated that the 9/11 (underground part) will cost $24 for those wishing to learn more and remember that terrible day. This is not right; the US Government should subsidize the memorial's budget so that they do not need to charge admission. Numerous groups represented by the family members of victims on 9/11 have come out against this admission fee. Many of our nations memorials are free to the public (Vietnam, WWII, Korean War, etc.) The 9/11 Memorial should hold the same status. That beautiful Tuesday morning was shattered in blink of an eye. Let Us Never Forget the sacrifice, bravery, and the fellow citizens we lost that day. Keep the memorial free; keep the memory alive.
