Fedral Laws for animal protection on Factory Farms

We need to protect the animals we eat. At factory farms the animals are tortured, sick, and given tons of growth hormones to produce more quicker. In turn these animals are sick, unhealthy and abused. They need to inject these animals with antibiotics just to serve them to humans. Chickens are crushed under thier own weight, cows are made to be in a constant state lactating, pigs are cruely confined. If we eat meat they should be treated humanley. Don't be fooled into thinking these animals live a peaceful life on a farm. Big coporations now own these farms and treat animals like machines. Please help make life atleast bearable for these animals. We need to make and enforce laws that make torturing these animals a jailable offense.
