We petition our present administration to provide free meals for our children.
All school districts should be required to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all children across the United States.
Our free breakfast program in my school district is very successful and the district has work hard to enable every student to have an opportunity to eat breakfast. However at lunch time I have witnessed many students going through the lunch line only to have their lunch trays taken away because they have no money in their lunch accounts. Our district is still tries to feed its children by providing a cold sack lunch for children who run out of money. According to news reports not feeding lunch to children who run out of money is a serious problem across the United States.
